Hopefully someone will! And perhaps today I'll shoot some and try the firecoresoft program I already have installed. (the DPR Digital Video Talk forum, a good resource)Īnd here's another link which may be useful:īut at this stage I've shot no 4K/UHD video, so I can't vouch for any specific approach. Turns out I have the one above but have not used it. Here are some links I saved back when I planned to shoot 4K with my GH4 (which I sold and replaced with an FZ1000, which is also 4K capable): Also have Premier Elements 14, which I have yet to install. Like you I have the iSkySoft program and FCP X (someday I'll learn how to use it!). I do have Final Cut Pro X but I'm looking for something quicker that I can throw all my holiday videos into to compress them. Interestingly, when opening the original XAVS-C files in Quicktime Player it says 24.93 or 24.94 fps rather than 25 fps and I'm wondering if that has something to do with the sync problem. I've been using iSkySoft's Video Converter for Mac for years and it works very well for 1080p footage, but I'm struggling with sync issues when converting the A6300's 4K footage. As per above, what software do you use (for those Mac users out there) for compressing 4K footage?
